I am a Danish artist, author-illustrator and publisher.

I’ve been drawing, cutting and glueing tiny books since kindergarten. As an adult, I’ve studied visual communication and illustration at the University of Malmö, Sweden. I also have a lovely, nerdy master’s degree in cognitive semiotics from the University of Aarhus, Denmark. I’ve worked in the children’s book field for more than a decade.

My academic background goes hand in hand with my craft and creativity in everything I do.

I have a head full of stories - that’s why I’ve started my own publishing house, Gabriel Publishing. Here, I write, illustrate and publish colourful books full of detailed illustrations, exciting stories, knowledge and inspiration for kids and their adults.

I take the picture book very seriously! It is a wonderful medium and an amazing tool for both adventure and communication.

I create fun, colorful, engaging illustrations full of details and memorable characters, and for a wide range of mediums and audiences.
